Our story

  • To conserve vulnerable snow leopards
  • To preserve and promote Dolpo culture
  • To encourage, empower, and engage local people by creating local job opportunities.

We, the Lama sisters, founded Snow Leopard Journeys with these goals in mind. We both grew up in Dolpo, Nepal’s western area, and joined Snow Leopard Conservancy partner Mountain Spirit, where we began working on snow leopard conservation.
